First launch of TransBar on macOS

Click on the TransBar icon, and you'll get a message telling you that TransBar didn't want to pay Apple for your unfettered use of the hardware it sold you. Overcoming this initial difficulty depends on your version of macOS, which you can find out from the "Apple > About This Mac" menu.

macOS 15 Sequoia

1) Choose "Apple menu > System Settings", then click "Privacy & Security" in the sidebar. You may need to scroll down.

2) Go to "Security" and then click "Open".

3) Click the "Open Anyway" button. This button appears for about an hour after you try to open TransBar.

4) Enter your login password and click "OK".

macOS 10.13 High Sierra to macOS 14 Sonoma
including Mojave, Catalina, BigSur, Monterey, Ventura

1) Click on the TransBar icon while holding down the "Control" or "Ctrl" key, then click "Open" from the context menu.
